Alex Mudekereza
Dedicated social worker, refugee advocate, and community mobilizer originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, now living in Uganda. With extensive experience in humanitarian roles such as Enumerator with Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS), Caregiver with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Interpreter with Alight, and Case Worker with REPSSI, he focuses on mental health and psychosocial support, youth empowerment, and inclusive education for displaced communities. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Development through Jesuit Worldwide Learning (JWL) in collaboration with XIM University, he passionately advocates for refugee rights, digital education, and climate resilience, utilizing both lived experience and professional expertise to inspire sustainable solutions for refugees and host communities.
